I decided to move from nhs to private treatment as I had a very bad experience where the dentist could not remove my tooth. Dr Feridah has been excellent and really helped calm my nerves. Dr Fereeba did an amazing job and seemed to remove the tooth with ease. All the staff go above and beyond and I would highly recommend this practice.

Started my journey with Manor House dental interested in invisalign. I was swiftly booked by Jaz to have a consultation with Dr Farideh and the rest became history. Fast forward a few months and many regular check ups I have finally been able to CONFIDENTLY smile again. The whole process is guided with expert care and regular milestones are established to ensure treatment is on track. Could not be more impressed or recommending of their services. I was so happy with their care I opted to also have bonding done with them too! Honestly could not fault the team one bit, a big thank you to you all for allowing me to reclaim a smile I can show off to the world!!

10/10 dental surgery. I’ve been having treatment for around 8-9 months, braces, dental bonding which basically involved dentist totally rebuilding my teeth by hand - a smile makeover for my very damaged misaligned teeth. From my first appointment I was very happy - Dr Arshad is a total professional and incredibly good at what she does, I’m also very anxious and she is so friendly she puts me at ease every time. Her assistant (apologies I can’t remember his name, possibly Amar? Or Amir? Is also fab, they really do work very hard. All the other staff are lovely, Jas & Roobee are so welcoming and accommodating, after all this time I feel at home when I visit. I come from the other side of the city, and I’ll always be a patient. Thanks so much Manor House dental 🙏

Can't fault the surgery In anyway. The front desk, dentist and hygienist are all so lovely and professional, this is coming from someone who has a bit of a fear of dentists and I wouldn't go anywhere else! Highly recommend.

A dental bridge can help you regain your healthy smile after losing teeth due to injury or decay. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth and/or dental implants, and they can completely replace missing teeth as well as fill in gaps between them.

At Manor House Dental, we offer dental bridge treatment and other cosmetic dental services to help you get the best smile possible. Read on to learn more about what dental bridges are and how they work to restore the missing tooth or teeth that were once part of your smile.

      What Are Dental Bridges?

Dental bridges are used to replace one or more missing teeth. Gaps left by missing teeth can cause the remaining teeth to shift and alter the way the upper and lower teeth meet which can result in an incorrect bite. A bridge is made up of two or more dental crowns that fit the teeth on either side of the gap. This serves as anchors, along with a false tooth in between. This will support the false tooth or teeth.

      What are the benefits?
      ● Improves chewing functions
      ● Fill out spaces where you have missing teeth
      ● Restores smiles
      ● Improves confidence
      ● Maintain the shape of your face

Dental bridges improve chewing function and cosmetics; they help fill out the face where teeth have been lost. It can be a highly successful treatment, providing that the abutment teeth holding the bridge are in good health and remain so after placing the bridge.

When May You Need A Dental Bridge?

Dental bridges are a safe option to replace missing teeth when you do not want a partial denture or dental implant. It is important to replace missing teeth to prevent your remaining teeth from drifting into the empty space, as well as to restore the appearance of your smile.

How Long Does It Take For A Dental Bridge To Settle?

The time required for a dental bridge to settle will depend on your bone health and the level of activity in your daily life. Generally, a dental bridge can take three to four months to fully settle. Patients with high bone density or who engage in intense physical activity may need a longer regimen. If that is the case, be patient with your regimen to avoid causing long-term damage to your gums or tooth roots. One thing you can do to speed up settling time is to avoid chewing on hard foods. This also depends on how much time you’ll have to wear them (if they’re permanent).

Temporary Dental Bridge Vs Permanent Bridge

It may be more affordable and easier to maintain a removable dental bridge than a fixed one; you only have to come in for routine care every 6 months. Dental bridges work on both front and back teeth, so your smile won’t appear asymmetrical if you use a permanent bridge. With either type, dental bridges offer patients a new level of confidence in themselves, as well as the ability to eat, smile, and live more comfortably once again.

      Dental Bridge FAQ
A dental bridge can last between 5 and 7 years, depending on the material and the type of wear. There are many materials in dental bridges, all of which are more durable than veneers or crowns. Generally, the time it takes for a bridge to need repair is in direct proportion to how much care is taken for its general health. For example, taking care of your dental hygiene and visiting your dentist will help keep your smile intact!
To keep your dental bridge as clean as possible, rinse it with warm water after every meal or before brushing your teeth, and then brush it thoroughly. In addition to visiting your dentist routinely for checkups and professional cleanings, it’s advisable to purchase an antibacterial mouthwash to use between appointments. To be properly used, mouthwash should be taken twice daily, for 10 seconds per rinse cycle. And also it’s recommended that you go to the dentist if you notice any cracks or chips on your dental bridge because these can be repaired during regular checkups.
Usually, bridges are made of porcelain that is glued to a metal. Sometimes other metals are used in the base for durability. The new bridges are also made from a material that’s stronger than normal.
Even if your gums recede, you can still have a bridge fitted, although it may take longer and therefore cost more. Get in touch with us today to learn more.
